Rogue Fable III Update 1.39 has just released on Steam!Īfter nearly 2 years of rebuilding the entire dungeon, zone by zone, we finally have a proper end game and final boss! The project is now in the last stage of development with a final release and end to early access planned for December 2021.
We have an active community on discord at: discord.gg/uC9m5wU Though its lacking nearly 3 years of polish and new content, it should still give a good idea of how the core game works. There is a now very out of date 'demo' version of the game available on the web at: itch.io. His 1HP challenges were particularly mind blowing to me (beating the game without taking a single point of damage). Youtuber Retromation has recently made a review/lets play of the game:įor examples of gameplay, one of the best players in our community has been posting lots of interesting challenge runs to his youtube channel at: Random595. Overall though I think its achieved the initial goal of cramming all the depth, challenge, and variety of the genre classics into a game that is both easy to learn and also playable in under an hour.
Its been a long and sometimes challenging process with total reworks of practically every aspect of the game and the addition of loads of new content. After 3 years of continuous development I'm pleased to announce that Rogue Fable III has reached full release and is now available on Steam at 30% off for the duration of the winter sales event!
